Special Programs

Reconnect with Food®
Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment and Support Programs

Reconnect with Food® Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) / Day Treatment Program
Higher level care for medically stable individuals or as a transition from a residential facility.  Although this program falls under your inpatient healthcare benefits, this is not an actual "hospital," but a full day program where individuals go home at night.  We also can house in or out of state participants nearby.

Reconnect with Food®
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
These programs are a transition and continuation of our PHP, reinforcing skills and concepts. These programs may be accessed by individuals who desire a way to further recovery skills in a structured, yet individualized program with regular support of individual and group interaction. You may be able to enter directly into the IOP from a PHP outside of our facility.

Reconnect with Food® Weekly Group Support
If you are interested in further exploring your relationship with food, body image and emotions, you will benefit from this dynamic yoga experience as an ongoing support program. It's the only one of its kind in town!

Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

What Marie will provide

With over 11 years of experience, Marie is able to help you release what isn’t working and explore new options.  She walks with you on your recovery journey to heal the past, and clarify the unhelpful patterns and habits. This can help you to move forward, ready to embrace the wholeness,
possibilities and potential that are your essential being. She will take the time to learn about your situation and, as she is able to tune into your unique struggles, will help you find your way out of them.  She helps you untangle your internal conflicts.
If you are seeking counseling for emotional, psychological or behavioral change you probably:
•  are willing to change yet need help to stay motivated
•  are ready to take action on your own behalf yet also want to learn to not give up on yourself or go into old self defeating behaviors
•   wish to be more honest with yourself and others, and to stop self- sabotage and repetitive self-destructive behaviors
•  want to learn about yourself and gain insights with a willingness to accept guidance for trying new behaviors
•  are open to a renewed, or even first time, confidence about making lasting life changes
•  are prepared to honor your unique self
•  are ready to learn to combat anxiety provoking situations

My Masters Degree is in Social Work and I am licensed by the State of Michigan as a Licensed Master’s Social Worker.  A humanistic, yoga-based focus is the  heart of my approach, meaning that I view my clients as equals, rather than  "patients," and that we will work together to help you find balance, freedom and healing.

I feel a profound commitment to my clients, as evidenced in my ongoing professional training, rapid evaluation and accessibility to clients. I pride myself on returning phone calls very quickly.
